Our Team

Dr. Barnett is a General Surgeon who has been practicing in Barrie, with active privileges at Royal Victoria Hospital, since 2013. 

She completed her medical degree at the University of Ottawa, and then her General Surgery residency at McMaster University in 2012. 

She practices general surgery with a specific interest in benign and malignant gastrointestinal disorders and breast cancer. 

Dr Khorasani is a gastroenterologist based at Southlake Regional Centre, Newmarket. He graduated from Saba University in Iran and trained as a specialist in Internal medicine in Plattsburgh, New York. He then worked for 3 years at the University of Vermont Health Network- Alice Hyde Medical Center, Connecticut, USA. His practice involves general gastroenterology.

Dr. Ogunbiyi is a General Surgeon based in Innisfil with staff privileges at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston. He completed his medical degree in Nigeria, a general surgery residency in Nottingham, UK, and an 18-month fellowship in breast surgical oncology and general surgery at the University of Toronto. His practice includes general surgery, endoscopy, and breast surgery, and he serves as a council member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr Malik is a gastroenterologist  and recently relocated to Simcoe County, from the UK. He practiced for the last seven years as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Birmingham, UK. He obtained his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College Pakistan and went on to do his residency in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology training in Wales, UK. His practice involves general gastroenterology with a special interest in endoscopy and bowel cancer screening services.

Dr. Henry J. Stefanison is a General Surgeon who has been practicing in Barrie since 1986. He attended Medical School at Queen’s University.

Post graduate training in General Surgery was at Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal. Dr. Stefanison practices general surgery and has a special interest in endoscopy.
